Alex Zima — Co-Founder
Accounting, Financial Reporting & Advisory
Alex brings more than 20 years of accounting, financial reporting, internal audit and advisory experience to Blue Saguaro. His background includes controller-level accounting, GAAP financial statement preparation, consolidations, SEC reporting, international accounting and complex account analysis. He also previously led the internal audit department of a Fortune 500 company. Alex has managed multiple accounting-system implementations and process improvements involving Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP and Oracle. He works directly with business owners and accounting teams to resolve difficult issues, improve reporting and build practical processes that support better decisions.
Brendalyn Zima — Co-Founder
Accounting Operations & Multistate Sales Tax
Brendalyn brings more than 20 years of property management accounting experience, along with extensive knowledge of accounting operations, revenue recognition and multistate sales-and-use tax compliance. Her background includes applying ASC 606 revenue-recognition requirements, customer billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets and commission calculations. She understands how accounting policies translate into dependable day-to-day processes and accurate financial records. Brendalyn works closely with clients to keep essential accounting activities organized, resolve operational issues and ensure important filings and deadlines are completed accurately and on time.
